Curves –
J curl lashes give a super soft and natural look, they work well for clients who have hooded eyes.
C curl lashes are more curved that gives a gentle lift to the lash line.
Y lashes have 2 lashes joined at the base and are split into two, this can give double the thickness in half the time.
B curl lashes are straight at the base with a curl at the end, this can create a gentle flick at the end of the lashes.
D curl lashes have an more dramatic curl and are good for curly lashes.
C curl and D curl are the most used lashes in salon treatments
Lash lengths –
4mm – 22mm
Thicknesses-
Fine – 0.15mm
Medium – 0.20mm
Thick – 0.25mm
Super Thick – 0.30mm
Top Tip – Generally when doing classic lashes 6mm-14mm are used for the lash lengths and 0.15 or 0.20 are used for the thickness.
Do not use lashes that are too long or too thick for the clients natural lashes.
Choosing the wrong length and diameter eyelash extensions for a client could result in serious damage done to their lashes.
Too much weight on a natural lash will cause breakage to the natural lash and possibly permanent damage causing shorter natural lashes or gaps.
Choose a length no more than 1-2mm longer than their natural lashes.
Top Tip – The shorter the extensions the fuller the overall style looks.
Match the lash extension diameter to the clients natural lash diameter.
