Glue Dipping

TOP TIP – Shake your adhesive well.

Dispensing adhesive
Hold the bottle vertically and squeeze evenly to create a small dome shaped glue dot on the jade stone.
Clean the nozzle of the glue bottle before replacing the lid if necessary.
In hotter weather you can dispense a larger dot as the glue will cure slower or change the glue dot more often.

Dip always from centre of bead where the adhesive is the wettest.

If you find the glue is drying too slow pick up smaller amount of glue on to the lash extension.

If the glue is drying too fast pick up a larger amount of adhesive onto the extension and disperse it onto the natural lash with a back forth motion to spread the glue evenly.

Glue dipping

We need a seamless finish to the lash extension with not too much glue.

The lash glue dot needs to be approximately 1cm in diameter and dispensed onto non reactive surface.

TOP TIP –  Work around the centre of the glue dot when dipping the lash extension.  The lash then enters into different areas of the dome helping the glue dot last longer.

Dip the lash extension in to the glue dot about 1mm up from the base of the extension and out slowly.  The image below shoes the correct angle.

If you bring the lash extension out of the glue dot too fast you will get a bead of glue on the lash, if you attach the lash extension to the natural lash with a bead of glue this can cause problems.  The glue may run down onto the skin or the client may feel the thick glue, either of these can cause discomfort or reactions.

If you get a bead of glue on the lash extension you can re dip the lash back in to the glue dot and come back out more slowly and the bead will disappear.

Do not dab the excess glue from the eyelash onto the micro pore tape.

Do not paint or swipe the glue onto the lash as you should not lose contact with the natural lash when applying the lash extensions, the lash extension should be gently placed on released onto the natural lash.
